Many times it’s enough that one of the most loved celebrities is seen carrying a certain bag model for the whole feminine population of a certain age group to follow. Even if the bag in question is too big for my needs, who cares about that? We can easily find stuff that we could use during the day, so filling up a big handbag is definitely not an issue for the modern girl of our days.
One of the large yet elegant bags that have just been launched for the Spring and Summer 2010 is the new Kristin Metallic Python Drawstring large hobo from the newest Coach bags collections. With a generous size of 17 3/4" x 15 1/4" x 3 1/2", this handbag can also be used as a netbook bag in case you don’t feel like having a lot of luggage in your daily “trips”. Kristin Metallic Python is made of fine Juno leather, carefully embossed in a python skin pattern, featuring a metallic sheen that reminds of modern SF movies characters. One of the most creative accents is the pink color of the fabric lining. Besides the fact that it offers a contrast that’s appealing to the eye, it also resembles the largely open mouth of a real python. With its two multifunction interior pockets, one interior zip pocket and two cute side pockets on the exterior, the Coach Kristin Metallic Python Drawstring large hobo can help a girl be organized and find her important stuff easily inside her bag. The Coach Signature small backpack is a stylish way to have both your hands free, while still having all your needed stuff with you. The backpack is made of signature jacquard fabric with leather trim, it has fabric lining, a back zip pocket, an inside zip pocket and a ring to clip a keyfob or one of those useless but cute accessories we all like to hang to our purses, wallets or mobile phones.
The 32 1/4” back straps are adjustable and they seem sturdy enough to bear a lot of weight, just in case you want to use the backpack for carrying books or a laptop besides your regular items. The drawstring and clip-front closure has a nice design and it’s easily accessible, but not as easy as to be exposed to robberies. This small backpack belonging to the Coach bags originals series is available in either black or khaki. It’s not an elegant bag, it’s not suitable for business outfits, but for casual occasions and everyday use it’s just great.

One of the main keywords in defining the Stewardess Coach bag is convenience. That’s because flight attendants need to be able, for instance, to access certain items inside their bag by using only one hand. The open pockets are just perfect for that, as well as the turnlock closure which doesn’t require two hands to open it. But of course you don’t have to be a flight attendant to love this purse. I can see myself wearing this bag even in ten years from now, without worrying that I’d look old fashioned.
The glove tanned leather is smooth, yet resistant. Moreover, the brass feet prevent bottom scuffing, in case you have the bad habit of putting your bag on the ground. The stewardess bag is available only in black color and it features an adjustable 26” strap, which can also be detached, if needed.

If spring means romance and romance means flowers, then the new Coach Madison Floral Audrey is a true icon of the spring. The daring combination between the floral pattern fabric having purple as dominant color and the modern metallic gold resulted in one of the most feminine Coach bags collections. As usual for textile Coach purses, Madison Floral features leather trim, fabric lining and multifunctional pockets. The double handles with 5 1/2" drop recommend Audrey as a handbag, but the 13 1/2" drop detachable strap makes it possible to wear it as a shoulder bag, if needed.

Made of graffiti fabric with metallic leather trim, the new Poppy Graffiti pocket hobo is a bag that can’t pass unnoticed. It’s once more a proof that Coach bags can be appealing also to young generations of girls, and not only to those of us who are already using expressions such as “when I was young…”. Silver makes an excellent background for the vibrant red and orange, giving this bag a fresh look.
The new Poppy Graffiti pocket hobo can be worn as a handbag, thanks to its 16 3/4” handle, but also as a shoulder bag or crossbody, as it comes with a detachable 37 1/2” shoulder strap. The bag features zip-top closure, fabric lining, multifunctional inside pockets and two cute outside pockets with hidden magnetic snap.

The Kristin tote is simple, yet sophisticated, with its rather classic look and its soft and supple leather and with its fine detailing that makes this Coach bag a favorite of celebrities like Sandra Bullock, who even accepted to be featured on the Coach official website, endorsing this tote bag.
Kristin is available in three color options: brown, green and coral, all of them featuring brass hardware. I think brass is a nice choice, because it matches very well all these three colors, giving this purse a plus of elegance and style. The 17” strap with chain detail looks cool, although I think I’d have preferred the strap without chain. The outside flap pocket is very nicely finished, I just love the details around its closure.

Rambler’s Legacy is one of those Coach bags that one could recognize on the street from the first glance. It’s a kind of Coach icon, in the same glove tanned leather that made Coach famous since such a long time ago. In my view, the mahogany color version of Coach Rambler’s Legacy looks much better than the black one. It’s probably the golden hardware which plays a role in my preference for the mahogany, but actually both versions are elegant and perfect to the smallest detail. The turnlock closure is typical for older Coach bags, with its nice, oval shape.
The gusseted pockets are roomy enough to accommodate pretty much everything that a modern girl would love to carry around with her every day. This shoulder bag has a 48” adjustable strap.
